Parents and Friends Association

The objectives of St Martin's School P & F are as follows:

  1. To provide a means of contact between the parents and school administration:
  2. To provide for the parents and friends of the school a means of meeting socially to help develop a corporate spirit among those associated with its work;
  3. To liaise closely with the Principal of the school and the Parish Priest in identifying school needs, establishing priorities in respect of such needs and to raise funds to assist in the provision of same.

The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) is run by parent volunteers to provide valuable support to the school by fostering relationship and building a spirit of community between parents, families, the school, the parish and wider community and contributing resources not covered by school fees.

The P&F have various community activities which help to provide many different opportunities to become involved in our school:

  • Sunday Funday
  • Family Care Program
  • Community Breakfasts
  • Parish supported School Masses
  • School Dscos
  • Mother's and Father's Luncheons
  • Mother's and Father's Day Gift Stalls
  • Grandparents Day Morning Tea
  • School Working Bees

The Parent Participation Plan (PPP) is a program coordinated by the P&F to support the school in practical terms.

Our P&F meetings are held once per term, they are a great opportunity to become involved in your child's school by hearing about P&F activities, contributing to decision making and hearing the Principal's report.

If you have an agenda item for a General Meeting or any ideas or questions you would like to share with the P&F, please email us on admin@stmartinscarinapandf.com.au

We look forward to meeting you throughout the year!
